Show Veal Sill: Roosevelt, Utah April 3, 1947 The town cleaned town here the other day, and it's about reached the point where a man's afraid to walk across the Main Street for fear he might dirty it. Jack McArthur had hold of a chunk of hose that was more holes than it was hose, while Ren Johnson, ever a great judge of water, watched with a critical eye the aqua that poured out across Main Street. The only one out of the whole batch who looked the least bit tired was Dick Scholes. The power factor popped up again in town last week with the lights going off and the Uintah Power and Light Company going go-ing around in circles. - But it wasn't the power company's com-pany's fault, lightning hit up there near the plant and knocked knock-ed the generator out. I guess it knocked it out right. From what understand there was a big "ang, and a lot of smoke. You know, Bill, there isn't any kind of lightning that's .worse than March lightning. It comes early in the spring, after resting all winter, stands ready to smack out generators right and left. It was March lightning JJat hit the Uintah P & L generator gener-ator in Uinta canyon.
