Show Arcadia Mrs. Marion S. Shields Friday evening in the ward chapel, a dance and shower was given honoring Mr. and Mrs. Tilden (Ted) Bell, who weremar-ried weremar-ried March 6 at Salt Lake City. A large crowd was in attendance and the newlyweds received many lovely gifts. They will make their home at Arcadia, where Mrs. Bell is a member of the Myton school faculty. Mr. Bell is one of Arcadia's prominent prom-inent farmers. S. O. Solomonson returned home Wednesday from the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital. The ward Primary officers held their monthly meeting Thursday evening, March 27 at the home of Mrs. Gladys S. Ross. There were 14 members present. John L. Capson and son, La-Mar, La-Mar, spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Solomon- son, of California, arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday for a few days visit with Mr. Solomonson's father, S. O. Solomonson, who has been ill. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Shields and family were weekend guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion G. Shields. Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert spent the weekend visiting in Salt Lake City. Relief Society meeting was held Tuesday, March 25 at the home of Mrs. Gladys Ross. The lesson was conducted by Mrs Fern Zirker.--' Bonnie and Shirley Zirker spent last weekend at the home of their parents. They returned to their school work at the U. S. A. C. at Logan, Sunday. Mrs. Floyd Mecham. of Mt. Home, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Bishop and Mrs. Marion Ross. .. ' Mrs. Marion G. Shields was a dinner guest, Tuesday, at the home of Mrs. Emma Sagers, at Duchesne. LaVoy Moore, of Salt Lake City, and Carman Horrocks, of Roosevelt, were weekend visitors at the home of their uncle and aunt, Mr .and Mrs. Thomas M Gilbert . Mrs. Stanley Ross spent several sev-eral days last week at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital at the bedside of her grandson, Kenneth Ross, who was operated on Monday for a hernia. Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields and son, Gary, were Sunday evening guests at the home of Mrs. Shields' mother, Mrs. J. C Nielsen, at Bridgeland. Visitors Sunday at Sacrament meeting were Mr. and Mrs. Porter Por-ter Merrill and family, of Duchesne. Du-chesne.
