Show LO.I L.- QQQ To the Editor We wi?h to express our thanks and appreciation for the help and cooperation received from the Milford police, this means Cliff Cook and Eddie Patterson. A special thank you to Sheriff Tait that saw fit to help us through a difficult situation sit-uation without question or hesitation hesi-tation the week of August 10th. It was after hours and he willingly will-ingly gave up his time to help. Thanks to Eddie Patterson for his assistance through a delicate deli-cate situation. We have lived in many towns and some large cities through the years and have known many people with a need for personal assistance from a law officer. Unless you have experienced exper-ienced what we have and seen what we have, you cannot appreciate ap-preciate the help that is available avail-able in Milford. It was quick, efficient and professional and given with a desire to be helpful. help-ful. People everywhere spend a lot of time complaining about their police department and the officers involved. It is doubtful that one person in a thousand would consider accepting the responsibility and demands that accompany a police job. Or the pay. Milford has not become afflicted af-flicted with the uglyness of practically every city around us. Why not keep it clean and a good place to raise our young people in. The beginning and the end of this achievement is to uphold the law and give appreciation ap-preciation where it is due. Praise and appreciation give all of us something to work for. 1. " " We have something special here in Milford. Many do not see because they have not spent enough time in other places. It grows harder everyday to keep what we have here and we just have to keep it. Thanks again to Milford's law officers and all the people peo-ple that were so helpful.
