Show t X-rcday, July 26, 1979 5 Page 13 Board And Teachers Settle The negotiating teams of the Park City Board of Education and the Park City Education Association have reached a tentative contract agreement for the 1979-80 school year. This new agreement involves in-volves a restructuring of the salary schedule for teachers. A new salary lane for teachers having a master's degree and at least 45 additional ad-ditional hours beyond that degree has been added. The beginning teacher's salary has been increased from $9916 to $10,450. An effort has been made to improve the potential lifetime earnings of a teacher in the Park City School District. This agreement also provides a formula for a per pupil expenditure for equipment and supplies, development of policies relating to class size, teacher's preparation time, and revision of the extra duty pay schedule. Other areas of mutual Lost Boy Scout Found concerns have been discussed, and efforts are being made to provide a duty free lunch time for all teachers and to remodel and repair existing facilities, particularly the Carl Winters Win-ters Middle School. The school calendar for the 1979-80 school year has been set. Teachers will begin on Friday, August 24th. The first day of schooi for students stu-dents will be Monday, August 27th, a minimum day. It is expected that the membership of both the Park City Education Association and the Park City Board of Education will officially adopt the agreement. A boy scout, lost for two days in the Uinta Mountains, was found Tuesday. Searchers found 11-year-old Dennis Carlisle, Salt Lake City, in good condition near Mirror Lake after he had spent two nights alone in the woods. The boy became lost after being separated from his scout troop Sunday. More than 800 resuce workers had searched wilderness area for the youth after he was reported missing. Mann, What A Show !
