Show 5 Thursday, July 26, 1979 Art Auction Promises High Quality If the early donations for the Gala Arts Festival Preview and Auction received by the Kimball Art Center are any indication, the items to be auctioned at the fund raising event will be varied and of high quality. Among the art items up for bid will be: a silver belt buckle cast by Park City Jeweler Dick Doty, the first in a limited edition of special bronze Arts Festival Buckles that he is casting; and the original 20" by 30" painting done by Robert Burnett from which the poster "Park City Summer" was reproduced. Other bid pieces will be as varied as the Arts Fesitval artists coming to Park City, since it is their work that is being donated or consigned for the auction. Adding color to the auction will be the auctioneer him self. Nationally known auctioneer auc-tioneer Don Kennedy of Portland, Port-land, Oregon, has agreed to call the auction for the Kimball Kim-ball Art Guild. Kennedy is best known as the auctioneer for the celebrity architectural architec-tural auction held annually in Los Angeles. For that event people who glitter gather to bid on such necessary items as antique staircases, sets from English pubs, whole rooms from mansions and other trinkets costing up to a $100,000 or more. The Kimball Art Auction will begin at 6 p.m. August 2, at the art center. Cocktails, music, a patio dinner, a written writ-ten auction and the live auction auc-tion are on the entertainment entertain-ment list. Dress nice, just in case Gov.
