Steve N. Bullock, 973 S. 190 W., Orem, was sentenced to an indeterminate term of up to five years in prison for issuing a forged prescription. The prison term was then suspended for a two year period of probation, and he was ordered to spend two weeks in the Utah County Jail, pay a fine of $500, and work-releas- receive drug therapy. Arthur L. Isaacson, N. 20, Academy Hotel, Provo, was brought before the court on a bench warrant. The court reinstated Mr. Isaacson's probation for one year and ordered him to spend 60 days in jail with credit for 22 days already served. , The court also granted the probation department leeway with respect to securing him employment opportunity. The court granted a reduction in bail to $500 cash or $1,000 property bond for John Richard Charles Crable and Ronald Ned Hitchings, 411 E. State, No. 70. The two men are awaiting sentencing on a Class A misdemeanor assult charge to which they pleaded guilty. Bobby Sanchez, RFD 1, Box 27, Springville, pleded guilty to the fraudulent use of a credit card. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 20, and ball was set at $5600 cash or $1,000 property bond. Mr. McTague has served on the library and hospital board for American Fork City, is a scouting executive, and has held many positions in the LDS Church, including serving as bishop for ten years. He worked at U.S. Geneva Steel Works for 19 years prior to becoming the American Fork Hospital administrator. He and his wife Mary have two daughters and four grandchildren. Dr. Richards was born in Pleasant Grove, began his elementary education in Lehi, and graduated from American Fork High School, where he was studentbody president during his sernior year. He attended the University of Utah, received his M.D. degree from George Washington University, and interned in Washington, D C. After his discharge from the army, he returned to American Fork in 1947 and went into practice with his father, the late Dr. Guy S. general Richards He is married to the former Clarise Larsen of Lehi They have four children and 11 grandchildren. Dr. Richards was the medical director at the Utah State Training School for 11 years, and superintendent and medical director at the school for five years. He worked as an industrial physical for U.S. Geneva Steel for nine years. Highland Passes Road Cut Rules HIGHLAND --- Council at the last regular meeting approved a road cut ordinance that will cost developers and utility companies a minimum of $125 for each cut made in a hard surfaced street in the community. Under the new ordinance, a $25 fee is levied, along with a $100 charge for deterioration to the road as a result of the cut. Charges could go as high as $325, however, because a $200 bond is required for each cut.
