BHS students score high at FBLA state conference BOUNTIFUL Students from the Bountiful High School Future Business Leaders of America Club scored high marks at the FBLA State Leadership Conference held April 5 and 6. Those students who qualified for nationals include: Mike Cleverly for first place in computer applications applica-tions for business and second place in information processing; Jen Spangenbery for first place in keyboarding applicalions and second se-cond place in office procedures; Aaron Anderson for second place in economics. Jasemaurice Feichko was elected to state vice president for the city region. These students will attend national competition in July in Anaheim, Calif Those students who placed among the top ten in the state conference con-ference were: Jennilynn Webb, second, se-cond, keyboarding applications; -Shauna Christensen, third, shorthand shor-thand I and eighth, Ms. Future Business Leader; Tony Garcia, fourth, computer applications for business; Melanie Jackson, fourth, job description manual; Carl Wadsworth, sixth, computer concepts; con-cepts; Travis Mitchell, eighth, business busi-ness math; Brian Arbanas, Jennilynn Jen-nilynn Webb, Carl Wadsworth and Aaron Anderson, ninth, parliamentary parliamen-tary procedure team; Darren Eggett, tenth, information processing. Cristina Reading was a finalist for the Governor's Vocation Excellence award. |
