Holland, niacin nest of Ogdt n, has been in town this week putting the B. C. Electric Co's plant in ship-shape. O. CI. Snow, President of the Bank of Brighain City, went south, Wednesday afternoon, on business to the Capital. M rs. Ohristensen and her daughter Martha, of the Second, ward, have been visiting friends in -Provo the past week. Rev. and Mra. S. L. Gillespie returned from Ogden, Thursday evening, where they had been to visit the Mills revival meetings. Dan Dunbar, of Salt Lake, was in town, Wednesday, in the interests inter-ests of the manufacturing department depart-ment of the Territorial Fair. Mrs. Annie C. Nielson, city, nnd Mrs. L. P. C. Nielson. Mantua, called in, yesterday, and both ladies subscribed for The Bucit.kh. Frank Brown, Corinne's skilled boatman, was iu Brigham City, Tuesday. Mr. Brown is recovering from a recent attack of sickness. Yesterday, Geo. IT. Vine and C. H. Stine, representing Coalter and Snelgrove's, piano firm of Salt Lake, were in town. Their card in today's Bugleie informs the public of their business. The gentleman are thoroughly competent - and reliable in the piano tuning line. Attorney E. R. Chase was over from Corinne, Tuesday. He claims there were but forty-three Liberals in the Malad precinct, at least twenty of whom can bo depended upon to vote the Democratic ticket. That about evens up the precinct. Wm. N. Ellis, one of the jollies! men of Corinne, was in town on business, Tuesday. When questioned ques-tioned on his polities, the gentleman gentle-man said he was neither a Democrat Demo-crat nor a Republican, but an out and out vote-for-the-best-man voter. II. L. Rhodes, the able editor of the Democratic Ogden Post, spoke to a crowded assembly in the opera house last Saturday night. The meeting was held under the auspices of the Henderson Club, Vice-President Jonah Mathias occupying the c haiis Pl'RELY PERSOXAL. Joseph Watkins, of Beaver Dam, was in town, yesterday. Miss Kit tie Williamson went to Ogden, yesterday afternoon, and will return today. Miss Nettie Rosenbaum was down from Logan this week and returned. Monday. Mrs. E. W.
