Show j THE C. P. SViTM!. ' Xc I'onipiwiy Will lut In n Switch on j toiMlln.iiiH. An agent of the Central Pacific j Co. was in town, Thursday. lie 'seemed authorized to say this much for the company, that if the people 'of Brigham City would construct ' a road to the C. P. track, west of : town, the company would put in a 'side track. In time they would probably erect a station : house there if the business busi-ness would justify. The County Court seems to he inclined to build ' the road called for if tlu-y can secure the eo-oper.t t ion of the city. : which no doubt will be given. This road would cost but a few hundred dollars, and a side track at this point would, beeousiderably more convenient than the Three Mile Crc--k switch, now used by Brigham people, which is a mile and a hdlf further from town I than the one now proposed. |
