No frosts have been reported from any locality. It has been favorable weather for harvesting late grain; and for threshing, which has proceeded busily iu all sections. Grain has turned out well, the vieid being large and of good quality. Corn, in most localities, is ready to be cut. There wilt be a slight yield only, j Fruit and vegetables will not be j up to the average in yield, j In Garfield County the past i season is considered the dry est one ever known, and the drought has greatly injured the range.
