Show PARK CITY. The regular monthly meeting of the Women's Athenaeum was held last week at the home of Mrs. E. P. La-compte, La-compte, Mrs. Wilson presiding. Five subjects on Spanish history were , given as follows: "Spanish Litera- j ture," Miss Katherine Malone; "Three Ceramics," Mrs. AV. Scott Geiger; ; "Painting in Spain and Early Artists, 1S40-1.V.19." Miss Jean Pearson: "Separate "Sepa-rate Crowns of Leon and Castile, 1230-l?..i0." 1230-l?..i0." Mrs. J. W. White: piano selection. selec-tion. "Drooping Violets" (duet), Mrs. E. Kelso, Mrs. F. W. Hayt. Mrs. James Farrell of Salt Lake spent Fridav in Park City, the guest of Mrs. J. M. Lockhart. Mrs. F. W. Sherman and daughter returned home from Butte after a pleasant visit with her mother. $ Miss Josie Bailey and Maggie Wil-kins Wil-kins gave a pleasant surprise on Nephi Williams Friday evening. Those present pres-ent were: Josi Bailey, Minnie Tucker, Tuck-er, Nettie Tucker. Maggie Wilkins. Mary Faddis. Edith Hobson, Ruby Stanley, Vilate Gibbons, Effie Brenan. Nephi Williams. Bert Stanley. Will O'Keefe, Lafe O'Keefe, Fred Berge. John Berge, Will Neilson. Ernest Williams, Wil-liams, Elic Wilkins, Bert Fu'.kerson. Mr. and Mrs. P. H. To wey were tendered ten-dered a pleasant surprise last week by a number of friends. Progressive "sixty-three" was the game of the evening." prizes being won by Mrs. Lenn Kimball and Mr. W. P.
