Show ROCKVILLE Mr. and Mrs. P. Jones, James Jennings and Alvin DeMill spent Saturday in St. George on business. busi-ness. A number of our townspeople attended the funeral of David Tweedie at Hurricane on Sunday. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family. Miss Nora Earl returned home from Las Vegas where she has been visiting. Mrs. Oscar DeMill is visiting with her children in St. George. A crowd of men are working on the shoulders of the road getting ready to put on the block top when it turns warmer. Arthur Dalton and a Mr. Robinson Robin-son of Los Angeles spent several days visiting with relatives here. The infant babe of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Terry is quite ill. Marvin Terry, Dee Cox, and P. Jones attended a meeting at Hurricane Hur-ricane on Monday, on the distribution distri-bution of water along the Virgin river. Mrs. Billy Shmidt of Portland, Oregon reached here Monday noon to be at her mother's bedside. Aunt Mary Jane Stout, as she is familiarly called by everyone, is still lingering, but is very low. Mrs. Virgil Averett was rushed to the doctor at Hurricane and he pronounced her very ill with pneumonia. pneu-monia. Her mother, Mrs. Henry Hirschi and her husband are with her. |
