Show MOTHERS AM) DAUGHTERS RAXQUET IS HUGE SUCCESS Tha Mothers and Daughters , banquet sponsored by the Stake Board of the M .1. A., was held Saturday evening in the Science building of the Dixie College. The Board feels that it was a very i successful affair and an excellent beginning, and hope to be able to make it a regular part of the yearly M. I. A. program. There were one hundred and "ixty guests in attendance. They represented the three St. George wards and Washington. The lar-i lar-i gest representation came from the ! West St. George Ward. ' Mrs. Beth Schmutz as toastmas- ter. and Mrs. Mae Pace as program pro-gram director,' conducted an in-j in-j teresting program. The numbers I presented were as follows: Tri-I Tri-I bute by Loie Watson; two nrnii-I nrnii-I bers by a trio, Mona Reber. Una I Pickett, and Katherine Clark; piano duet. Clara Woodhouse and Mary Sullivan. Responses from each of the wards were given by j Violet Esplin. West Ward; Emma' Crcsby. South; Elaine Ha fen,1 East; and Aggie Sproul. Washing-' toon. Group singing was led by; Mrs. Mae Pace and Mona Reber. j By request of the group, Mrs.; Schmutz gave several very entertaining enter-taining readings. j The Stake Board wishes to express ex-press appreciation to all who as-! sisted in any way with the pro-! gram. |
