Show NO MONEY FOR TOE DECORATING OF IE HUES Mayor A G Fell reports that sanitary sani-tary -fountains have been installed in eleven different places in the city as follows: Smooti park: Washington avenue and Twenty-second, Twenty-third, Twenty fourth and Twenty-fifth streets; on the same avenue between Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth; (Jrfint nvonno An Tuon t v-frm i-t h o ti H Twenty fifth streets; Twenty-fifth street on Wall and Lincoln avenues, and at the city cemetery on Twentieth Twenti-eth street The committee of the whole of the city board this morning reported adversely ad-versely on the petition of the Harry A. Young Camp No. 2, United Span ish War Veterans, for an annual appropriation ap-propriation for decorating the graves of deceased members The reason given for denying the request was that the city has not the authority to take such action. The commissioners denied the petition peti-tion of Joseph Wallace for $31.34 for certain plumbing work claimed to hnve been done by Mr Wallace when he waa not responsible for the work The petitioner was denied on the rec ommendation of Mayor A. G. Fell. |
