Show THEATRICAL. The performance on Saturday evening last, in Logan Theatre, was witnessed by an attentive and appreciative audience, and was one of the very best entertainments our home company has given this winter. It was highly creditable to all who took part in it. The Club are improving very fast. Mr. Bywater's acting was studied, careful and powerful. Miss Hayball played the part of the dumb boy "Myrtillo" with care, and a graceful manner and bearing that was very pleasing. Mr. E.J. Haws shows marked improvement, Miss Haws played very well, and, to short, all the company deserve praise. In the farce, "A Kiss in the Dark," Mr. A.W. Jones played capitally. Many a professional could have done no better. The same may be said of Miss Haws and Mr. Bywater. "Enoch Arden" and "A Kiss in the Dark" is the bill for to-morrow night. |
