Show Obituary. News of the death of Paul Lowrey brought sorrow to the hearts of the many who had known and loved the bright young boy from infancy and to the friends of his aunts, the Misses Jennie and Maggie Ryan, to whom he had been more than son. Paul Lowrey Low-rey fell a victim to typhoid fever, and his promising career was brought to a close at Mercy hospital on Saturday, Sept. 19, after an illness of but a week. He was only 17 years of age, and his life from his tenth year had been passed as a pupil of Sacred Heart college, col-lege, where he had ever been a general gen-eral favorite with priests and boys. The funeral occurred Tuesday. Sept. 22, from the home, 5127 Lowell boulevard, to Holy Family church, where requiem mass was sung by Rev. Father Mon-tell. Mon-tell. S. J.. who also preached a touching touch-ing sermon. The fathers from Sacred Heart college and many of the pupils were in attendance. Rev. Fathers McDonough Mc-Donough and Henagan of the cathedral cathe-dral were among the priests In the sanctuary. The choir was under the a direction of Mrs. Margaret Hayden. Interment In-terment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. fc After months of patient suffering Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Wagner, wife of Henry Wagner, died on Friday, Sept. 18, at her home, 80 Pearl street. The funeral took place on Saturday with requiem mass at St. Francis de Sales church. Mrs. Magner had been a resident resi-dent of Denver for a number of years, and the family Is well known. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. afc Peter Redmond of 4311 Vine street died at the family home on Saturday, Sept. 19, after a protracted illness. Funeral Fu-neral under the auspices of the Foresters Forest-ers of America was held Monday morning morn-ing from Annuncnation church, Burial was in Mount Calvary cemetery. j )( )C The funeral of Prosper Meusy, who died at Mercy hospital on Saturday, Sept. 19, was held on Monday with requiem re-quiem mass at St. Leo's church. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. |
