Hanson Sylvia Deanne Wilson Hanson, born Oct. 6, 1926 in Nephi, the sixth child of Bertha Grace Ander- son ana John Irvine Wilson, died after a val- was activein the Democratic Party. Sheenj'oyedcrochetingandquilt-ing- making numerous beautiful treasured heirlooms for her family. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her grandchildren and participating with and supporting them in their various activities. She is survived by five children: Myrna Kaye Hanson, Las Vegas, Nev.; Gary Lynn Hanson (wife Susan), Fountain Green; Jolen H. Goble, American Fork; Karen H. Coon (husband Steve), Henderson, Nev.; Pamela H. De St. Jeor (husband Boyd), Provo; 20 grandchildren; 12 a sister and brother: Maurine (Mrs. George H.) Pulley, American Pork; Robert (Ann) Wilson, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry; her sister, Lolita; and two brothers, Ernest and Glen Wilson. And her very best friend, Lorna Masterson. Gillman LaRae Garis Stewart Gillman, 68, Lindon, died Feb. 13, 1995 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center of com- children and grandchildren and other family members. She is survived by her husband of Lindon; two sons and two daughters: Marilyn Eldridge, Lindon; Dennis Duncan and Sheryl Dewey, both of Orem; Brynn Duncan, Pleasant Grove; three stepdaughters and a stepson: Janell Brady, Deonn Jensen and Colette Gillman, all of Lindon; Evan Gillman, Pleasant Grove;32grandchildren;four greatgrandchildren; five sisters and a brother: Melva Hone and Kate Hickman, both of Benjamin; Geo Birch, Lehi; Theone Blaine, Lindon; Ireta Gunnell, Salt Lake City; Luther Kimball Stewart, Jr., Denver, Colo. Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. in the Lindon 2nd Ward, 610 W. 100 South. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. January Eldon James Bailey, 69, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995 of complications from a condi pre-existi- tion Yellowstone. He was born May 5, 1925 in Lehi. He mar- I I ried Renee Summerhays dent. June 22, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and was the proud father of six children and 26 grandchildren. He received his basic education in Lehi and American Fork and received a degree from Utah State University and an advanced degree from the University of Utah. He proudly served his country in the "Silent Service'in World War II aboard the submarine U.S.S. TrepanginthePacificandremained an active member ofthe Submarine Veterans Association. Following graduation, Eldon lived in Lark where he worked at U.S. Steel as Maintenance Super Survivors include six children: CraigBailey.SaltLakeCity; Sherry Ruf, Bellevue, Wash.; Judy Thompson, Seattle, Wash.; Allan Bailey, Alpine; Linda Luke, Lindon; Lane Bailey, Orem; 26 grandchildren; a sister, Ardith Bigelow, Riverside, Calif.; Howard Mitchell, Sandy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bailey and Louise Colledge Miller, and his beloved wife, Renee Summerhays. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Vermont Ward Chapel, 400 E. 400 North, Orem. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery with military honors by the VFW. Travis E. Gustafson Travis Eric Gustafson, 28, died Feb. 10, 1995 from injuries in an industrial accident. He was born Jan. 13, 1967 in Provo to David M. and Karen B a r k 1 e y Gustafson. He married Penny I u Nelson July 13, it 1990 in the Jor- i dan River Temple. He was an Eagle Scout, served an IDS mission to Norway, was active in the Mountain Men Club, loved black powder guns, basketball, golf, hunting, fishing and the He was employed by Paul Young Construction Co.
