New art head The appointment of Roger I. DcsKosiers, Jr., as professor and chairman of the Department of Art was approved July 10 by the Institutional Council and is effective immediately. The appointment ends an .extensive three-year search for a new head of the department. Professor Desltosiers has served as assistant dean of the Tyler School of Art at Temple University since 1969. He has also served as chairman of the drawing and dnsijrn rlnniirt rrwni at Ohio University, and has held teaching positions at the University of Illinois and Northern Nor-thern Illinois University.
