She had served in the Primary, Mutual and Relief of the Clearfield Society. She had been employed at the Clearfield Post Office for 18 years. SURVIVING are her husband of Clearfield; one son and one daughter, Horace Mark Argyle, Kaysville and Mrs. Glen G. (Lola Mae) Taylor, Bountiful; 17 grandchildren, 21 Also surviving are two brothers and eight sisters, SHE WAS born Aug. 25, 1906 in Farmihgton, a daughter of George Nathan and Esther Lauretta Ford Clark. She married Mark Mann in the Argyle on July 18, 1928 Salt Lake LDS Temple. SHE WAS reared in Farmington and moved to Clearfield occurred on some private property located north of the Layton Hills Mall. HE WAS bom June 26, 1960 in Caldwell, Ida. , a son of Wes-le- y Eugene and Betty of Clearfield; three sisters, Mrs. Kevin (Kimberly) Black- burn, Mrs. Deanna White, both of Layton; Mrs. Monty (Sherrie) Spaulding, Middle-toIda. Also surviving are his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Plen Nickel, Middleton, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Breshears, Caldwell, Ida. Breshears Nickel. He had worked for Smiths Food King Corporation in Layton for five years. He had lived in Clearfield the past nine years. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1979. She is enthusiastic about Xi Chi and the chapter is fortunate to have her. Other socials are planned for the remainder of the year. On March 12, a progressive dinner party will be held with members going from one home to another. This proves to always be a successful evening. ELDER FISHBURN Fulfills LDS Elder Franklin Scott Eldon Kimball. 780 N. 250 W.. Clearfield, has been called to serve an LDS mission in the Medera-NlexicMission. HE WILL be honored at the Clearfield 6th Ward Sacrament meeting on March 20 at :10 p.m. The chapel is located at 300 N. 200 W.. Clearfield. Elder Kimball is a graduate o 1 of Clearfield High School where he was active in drama and debate. He was also a scholarship winner in drama and a Sterling Scholar while at Clearfield High. He attended Boys State and is currently attending SUSC at CedarCity. HE W ILL depart for the MTC on April 7. Science Fair Mission Elder Kelly Fishburn will return home this week after serving an LDS mission in Cleveland, Ohio. HIS HOMECOMING will be held on Sunday, March 20 at 10:50 a.m. at the Sunset Fourth Ward Chapel, 220 W. 975 N., Sunset. Elder Fishburn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Fish- burn. He graduated from Clearfield High School and has attended Weber State College. On KAYSVILLE Wednesday, March 16 at -- Davis High School, the Davis County Science and Engineering Fair will be held according to director. Dr. Tim Hunt. The fair will provide an opportunity for junior and senior high students throughout the district to exhibit and compete for awards. For many participants the fair will be the culmination of months of experimental research and data gathering. JUDGES for the fair will be from the Air Force, Army, Navy, Weber State College and private industry. The awards presentation will be from p.m. on March 16 in the Davis High auditorium. Awards to be presented include trophies, plaques, medallions, certificates and ribbons. THE PUBLIC is welcome to view the projects from 7 p.m. and immediately following the awards presentation. Phyllis Jeffery Dies In Nevada She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 82 of Kaysville where she served as an officer and also a member of the Eastern Star. SURVIVORS are her husband, two sons and one daugh- Phyllis Marie Dork Jeffery, Nev., and formerly of Kaysville, died March 2, 1983 in the Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital of natural causes. 62, of Las Vegas, SHE WAS born Aug. 20, 1920 in Wisconsin, a ter, Larry Jeffery, Miami, daughter Fla.; Tim Jeffery, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Sam (Jodi) Foit, Layton; four grandchildren, her father and two brothers and two sisters, Paul Dork, West Union, Ohio; Guy Dork, of Edward and Carrie Dork. She married Morey B. Jeffery on June 26, 1943 in Texas. SHE WAS educated in the Ohio schools. She and her husband traveled throughout the world with the service. He is a retired Lt. Colonel.
