Show Prominent Builder of Southeast Area Dies j Funeral services were held , Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Wil- ! ford ward chapel for B'ailey B. Nowlin. 63, 3408 Highland Dr. A prominent builder and contractor, con-tractor, Mr. Nowlin had been actively engaged in' this business busi-ness for more than 40 years and was well known as a sportsman. sports-man. He was born in Sparta, Tenn.. Sept. 8, 1882, a son of James E. and Martha Webb Nowlin. His father was a professor of Latin and ancient Greek at the U of U until his death in 1914. An I active member of the LDS church, Mr. Nowlin was a high priest in the Wilford ward. Survivors include a son, Don Nowlin: a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Anglum: a sister. Mrs. Mary N. Reif. all of Salt Lake City: a brother, Joseph W. Nowlin, Bremerton, Wrash., and three grandchildren. I |
