The following kids qualified in the last fall rodeos: Enterprise Rodeo Amanda Buckwalter placed first in the goat tying. Jessica Busk placed eighth in barrel racing. Rebecca Scow took eighth and Kelli Jorgenson placed 10th in cow cutting. Josh Hunter took seventh in calf roping and sixth in cow cutting. Chad Taylor won a sixth place in calf roping and eighth in team roping. Tom Lewis took fifth place in steer wrestling. Hurricane Rodeo Chad Taylor took first place in the team roping. Will Stewart won second in the steer wrestling. Josh Hunter won second in the cow cutting. Amanda Buckwalter Beaver Rodeo First place in goat tying went to Amanda Buckwalter and Kellie Jorgenson placed third in Bryce Valley breakaway roping. Rebecca Scow won a sixth in cow cutting. Canda Christiansen took ninth place in pole bending and Jessica Busk took fifth in barrel racing. In calf roping, Josh Hunter won second, Chad Taylor won sixth and Tom Lewis placed 10th. Rob Braithwaite placed second, in bareback and Josh Hunter placed eighth in cow cutting. CandaChristensenplacedfourth in polebending and first in breakaway roping and for the girls. Jessica Busk won with a first in barrels and third in pole bending. j.v, demolishes Utes The Lehi Pioneer soccer team played a great, but frustrating, region opener at Vernal on Friday. Lehi opened up the scoring when Jon Hafen punched in a Ben Grimley cross that had bounced off a Ute defender. With only minutes left in the first half, the Utes were awarded their first of two penalty kicks to tie the score. Early in the second half, the Utes were awarded another penalty kick on a questionable call. Lehi's J.V. defense played another outstanding match with defensive contributions by Gary Bezzant, Nick Kolowich, Jayson Chamberlain, and Ashton Hobbs; Josh Anderson played solid defense for the Pioneers. d. . 1 ! In the first week of Region 10 soccer play, three of four matches ended in ties (a new rule for this year).
