Maybe they are on a different time schedule. Maybe they need to get back early to catch MacNeil and Lehrer. What ever it is, they have pounded their last three opponents; ending each game rule. early with the ten-ru- n The Delta game was a one inning contest as Lehi scored all 11 in the first inning. Head coach Lynn Allan made this observation: "We are doing pretty well. We have had a couple of good games and I think we are improving each game, but I don't want us to start easing up, we have a long way to go to meet our goal. We need to stay after it." The defense made an outstanding effort, making only one error and a fielding percent of .938. Curtis Jacobsen, Brian Mantor and Adam Olson all made hard to handle plays. The last out was made by Nate Nelson moving up against the backstop. He has been playing catcher for the last couple of games and is doing a fine job, especially on past balls and keeping the ball in front of him. Center fielder Mike Schneider had this to say: "We are coming together. We are playing well as a team. We are all hitting the ball, the defense is doing their job and our pitching is solid. If we can keep a good attitude and remain positive, we will be tough to beat. How good a team are we ? This is the best team I've ever been on."
