Show Strawberry Days Rodeo Queen, Jr. Queen contests announced The Strawberry Days Rodeo Queen contest will be held May 6 at noon at the Pleasant Grove Arena. The contest will begin with a tea and interviews with the judged, followed by a horsemanship pattern. Contestants must be 16 years old and have never been a prior Queen of Strawberry Days Rodeo. Winning contestants must be available for Days publicity, such as radio, TV and personal appearances with city, county and state dignitaries. Winning contestants will reign over the Strawberry Days Rodeo to be held June 14 through 17. The Strawberry Days Junior Queen Contest will be held May 13 at the Pleasant Grove Arena at noon. General rules for the contest are: The contestants must be 15 years old or younger at the time of the Strawberry Days Rodeo, must not have been a prior junior queen of the Strawberry Days Rodeo, and must be a resident of Utah County.
