Cases of note were disposed of this week as follows: fol-lows: Frank Llvermore of Mud Lake, charged with grand larceny by the Plerres, w;ho , carne Into notoriety through their sensational sensa-tional trial for tho murder of their father some weeks ago, was found guilty of petit larceny. John Smith, another resident of that locality, who had a shooting affair with one Jackett of the samo neighborhood, was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon with latent to commit murder, and will receive a penitentiary sentence some Ume this week. Crockett, charged with the cmbezzle-i cmbezzle-i ment of funds from the Pocatello Music house. Is having his trial today and may receive a light sentence. The Clarence Dally trial Is being held today. This Is the affair In which Daily threatened the life of Henry Jenkins of Parker over an affair Involving a cow. Both men claimed tho animal, and Dally pulled a gun on Jenkins on tho public highway and demanded that Jenkins return re-turn an animal which he is supposed to have taken without permission. |
