U j Native American Club by Erica The United Native American American American Amer Amer- ican Student Association also known as the Native American Club is a new club on campus this year The purpose of th the club is to promote pride and knowledge of native American American American Amer Amer- ican cultures and traditions among all native American students An additional p purpose is to unite all native American students attending Utah Tech and unite them with the people of Salt Lake City and the community The club has approximately approximately approximately 20 members Activities Activities Activities ties will be a fry bread sale an American Indian film raffle Indian Awareness Day pow wows wow's at other universities and an Indian basketball team Fees are per quarter Meetings are held the first Wednesday and the third Wednesday of the month Look for meeting times in the cafeteria The club is not just for American Indians Everyone Everyone Everyone Every Every- one is welcome to join and learn more about Indians The President is Leroy Manygoats Vice President is Ray Badonie and the Secretary is Linda White- White rock They are hoping to elect a new Treasurer The president said he thinks the Native American Club is laying the ground work for other clubs of this sort possibly a Latin American club or a Spanish club President Manygoats said I would like to welcome welcome welcome wel wel- come everybody
