Show IffL PC AL STRING WEDDING The Salt Lake LDS Temple was the settinfir Thursday evening, April 30, for the exchange of wedding vows between Miss Carolyn Gene I.inde and Ira Alexander Moss. Willard D. Smith officiated. The . bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor E. Linde of Blaine, Wash., and the bridegroom' parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Moss of Bingham Bing-ham Canyon. A reception honored the newly-weds newly-weds Saturday evening, May 2, in the West Jordan Stakehouse. For her wedding the bride chose a gown of white lace over whit satin. The bodice lenlured a scalloped scal-loped V-neckline and long tapered sleeves. A bandeau of white daisies anJ rhinestones reluased her veil of sheer illusion, finger-tip length. She carried a bouquet of white gardenias garden-ias and baby pink roses. Bridal attendants were Miss Karen Kar-en Moss and Miss Carol Moss, sisters sis-ters of the bridegroom. They wore blue embroidered street - length dresses complimented by corsages of pink carnations and pink rosebuds. rose-buds. Performing duties of best man I Ruth Rebekah Lodge held their I monthly meeting for May at the Civic Center Tuesday evening. Mrs H. R. Gust was hootess. A business meeting was conducted after which .bridge was played. Prizes were won bv Mrs. James McLeod, Mrs. J. L. Murano, Mrs. Mabel Brimhall and Mrs. Joe Jenson. Lovely refreshments refresh-ments were served. Tuesday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mr. Glenn Huebner and family were Mrs. Huebner's ' sister, Mis. L. W. Babcock and daughters of Ogden. Fire Auxiliary met Monday evening ev-ening as guests of Mrs. Verl Peterson. Peter-son. Prize at cards were won by Mrs. Jack Householder Jr. Mrs. Leonard Bell, Mrs. Wally Swenion and Mrs. Verio Kcndrick. Lovely refreshments were served by th hosteas. 18 members were present. Mrs. Tom Prigmore will be hostess hos-tess next Monday night. Mrs. R. C. Stevenson, president of the Bingham Women' Civic Club, attended the three-day Utah Federation of Women' Clubs convention con-vention last Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Roosevelt. Dinner guests and visitors last Friday evening of Mrs. Mabel Brim-hall Brim-hall were Mrs. Dewey Mayne, Mrs. Mclvin Olsen, Mrs. Fred Bolliger, Mrs. Ruth Hudson and Mr. Arthur Bentley. I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to everyone for kindnesses kind-nesses extended to me and also the many lovely cards 1 received during my recent stay in the hospital. Mr. Vern Lipsey. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Linde chose a blue net gown while Mrs. Moss, the bridegroom's mother, mo-ther, selected pink net. Both mothers mo-thers wore corsages of white gardenias gar-denias and pink rosebuds. Mia Deon Bean of Twin Fall, Idaho, presided over the guest book. In charge of tho gifts were Miss Welda Lendt of Buffalo, N.Y. and Mis Barbara Christisen of East Ely, Nev. Serving were Miss De-lores De-lores Linde and Miss Marjorie Linde. Greeting guests at the door were Jimmy Moss and Dwayne Linde. Reed Mini was master of ceremonies cere-monies at the program .given at the reception which included two vocal numbers by Merlin Sorensen, a musical mu-sical reading by Mrs. Joylene Tin-gey, Tin-gey, two piano solos by Miss Marian Moss, and two vocal solos by Mr. Areta Head. Dancing followed. The newlyweds plan a wedding trip to Seattle, Wauh., before making mak-ing their home somewhere in the Salt Lake Valley. Out of town guests here for the wedding were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor E. Linde and family of Blaine, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Perry of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rex and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Robinson, all of Woodruff. Martha Circle met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Helen Austin in Salt Lake City. A very lovely one o'clock luncheon wa served following fol-lowing which a business meeting was held. Afterwards bridge was played and prizes won by Mrs. Bess Kemp, Mrs. Myrtlo Thomas, Mrs. Margaret DuBois and Mr. Irene Frazier. Other member present were Mrs. Alva Evans, Mrs. Bessie West, Mr. Mary Z.accaria, Mrs. Pearl Hansen, Mrs. Edna Jacobsen, Mrs. Pearl Rasmussen, Mr. Char-lotte Char-lotte Murano, Mrs. France Roger-son Roger-son and Mrs. Ida Bolman. - Next Circle meeting will be held at the home of Mis. Bolman in Copper-tun Copper-tun Wednesday, May 20. Mrs. Jolene Rasmussen entertained entertain-ed at a birthday party Sunday afternoon, af-ternoon, May 3, honoring her daughter, dau-ghter, Claudia, on her tenth birthday. birth-day. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mendez of 407 Main streete, longtime Bingham residents, re-sidents, are leaving sometime this month to make their new home in McAlla, Texas. Mr. Mendez just retired. re-tired.
