Show ENGINEERS MAY MEET IN SALT LAKE CITY Salt Lake, May 23. Secretary Joseph Jo-seph E. Calne has received a brief telograni from G. A. McLean and Jo-soph Jo-soph G Bywator, who represent Utah at tho Hnrrlsburg convention of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers In Pennsylvania, from which It is gleaned that Salt I-ako will be selected se-lected for tho 1915 convention. The telegram asked Secretary Calno if tho Commercial club would stand bv Its Invitation and promise for tho 1914 convention in tho following year. Secretary Calne wired that the offer of the club is good at any time tho engineers want to moot here. It Is believed the engineers have decided upon a change of raeetlni; dates. In the past the organization has mot biennially and the next con. vontlon should bo in 10H. However, It 1b thought the convention will bo postponed until 1915, so that the delegates dele-gates can go to tho big exposition at San Francisco, and hence, that Salt Lako leado a9 the moBt advantageous convontion place In such a case. |
