Show N I0WS NOTIOS from BLACK ROCK By MRS. Bt.r.ITI BURKE Mrs. Leo Clayson and family drove down from Springville to spend a few hours at the Black Hock Ranch and visit with Mr. Clayson. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Pea fee and family of Cedar City spent the week end here. Mr. and Mrs. Don Hoi wig of Laguna Beach, Calif., are house gues s of the Merrill Millers. The two families have taken several tr'ps and spent some of the time fishing. The Drseret Garden Club, of which Mrs. Edna Christensen is president, spent Thursday aft-ernc'on aft-ernc'on viewing (he gardens here. The iris were colorful and beautiful. They breight " i the:r lunch an .J picnicked In the yard of the Miller residence. Sunday afternoon the following follow-ing guests enjoyed a yard din- ner with the Hampton Burkes: Mrs. l'Vrd Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Swain, Mr. and Mrs. Niel Madsen of Monroe; Mrs. Dorothy Bradson and son Dick and her father, Mr. Jones of Kichfield, rtnd Mrs. A. C. Gale of Milford. During the late afternoon aft-ernoon the group hunted for arrowheads southwest of here, and some attractive specimens were found. Sunday the Merrill Millers, W. A. Miller, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Ilelwig left here very early j and drove to Salt Lake, where they were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Farmer. They returned the same evening. Monday Mrs. Merrill Miller and Mrs. Don Ilelwig were in Richfield visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Bird of Springville stopped in to visit with their former fellow towns- I man, Leo Clayson.
