When It was learned that Dowon, who is partially deaf, had not been presented In Judge Diehl's court before for drunkenness, drunk-enness, he was discharged. Dowen waa past the conscious stage when ho wan picked up for intoxication, Monday night. On him was ?9 in money, and when he sobered up a little ho was released on ?5 ball. Tuesday morning he discovered the ?5 missing, and after racking his think tank trying to remember remem-ber the Incidents of tho night before, he concluded thnt ho had been dragged Into a shed and held up and robbed by four men. In Police court Tuesday afternoon he pleaded guilty, guil-ty, saying that he felt so good over lils discharge that he got drunk Monday afternoon aft-ernoon and couldn't remember clearly what happened to him that night. Mack said that Tfann attempted to "mooch" from him and llnally grabbed up a can from some garbago and felled him. Tho police broke up the fight. Mack was discharged. dis-charged. . .
