Show LOG-ROLLING CONTEST MD SMT PARADE Utah Camps of Woodmen of the World Will Hold Annual Celebration. Pormptly at 7:lw o'clock this evening ono of the largest nnd most elaborate parades over seen in Salt Lake will stare from the comer of Second South and West Temple streets and will march through the principal streets of the city. This parade is to be tho' crowning event of tho big Woodmon of tho World log-rolling contest which is fo bo held hero toda3'. The greator part of the festivities, with the exception ex-ception of the parade, will be held at the Salt Palace. . , . From tho corner of Second South and West Temple streets the procession will move east fo Main street, north ou Main to Brighnm Young monument, countermarch on Main to Fourth South street, from whence they will board stroot. cars for the Salt Palaco. where the initiatory ceremony will take place. Tho procession, which will include over one thousand men. will march in the following order: First division Platoon of mounted police. Grand Marshal Mar-shal Hnrrv Don on horseback. Hot Springs band of Ogden. head officers of tho camp in automobiles, Ogden t degree team, Ogdon "W. O. W. bugle corps, and ofltccrs and members of Weber camp No. 74 of Ogden. Socond division All camps outside of Salt Lake Cify and Ogden with a band, floats, uniformed ranks, degree teams and so on. Third division All camps of Salt Lake City, accompanied by tho Utah State band, camps 53, 338 and -106, with their degree loams, corps and iloalp. The first division will be in command of K. C. Olscn of Ocdcn, the second division in command of William Mines of Murrav. and the. third division in command of'Knlph Gottrell of Salt Lake City. |
