C Van Deusen, special r.aturalliatlon examiner from Washington unde the new Department of Commerce, has revealed the fact that hundreds of allen5, who believed themselves clllr-enand many of whom have voted at all elections for years, arc still aliens and have not yet received citizenship. The Investigations of Mr. Van Deusen have shovn that 704 people have been Illegally naturalized, and the total may be brought up to over 2000. All these are subject to prosecution for a serious violation of the Federal laws should any. be found who desired to prosecute Since the departure of Mr. Van Deusen, County Clerk James has gone ahead with the Investigations Instituted by hlrn and has found that 79 admissions made In Territorial days wer. not made according to law, und r: consequently null and void for the dethat the Territorial courts were void of common law Jurisdiction.
