Show Davis Racquet Club Schedule In spite of the recent wet weather, a great deal of match play by members of the Davis Racquet Club has been completed. SOME MATCHES were postponed, but will be completed within the week. The second round of tennis will begin the second week of June. Applications are still available for membership in the club for the remainder of the tennis season (summer and fall). Mail applications for singles or doubles match play to Mrs. Norma Shurtliff, with a $5 application fee. ALSO, MIXED doubles, or men's and women's doubles are in the round two schedule, (your partner must be a member of the Davis Racquet Club also). In addition to the tennis activity ac-tivity by the group, other clubs in the immediate area have shown an interest in setting up class tournaments. IF YOU are not a member of the group, and you enjoy playing tennis, look into the possibilities of joining an inexpensive, enjoyable organization or-ganization of people who also nave a special interest in tennis. ten-nis. The club was originated under the direction of Dan Drumiler, Charmaine Hal-verson Hal-verson and Norma Shurtliff, Bountiful tennis enthusiasts who have coordinated the clubs activities from its beginning in early April. OVER 108 persons have been competing during that two month period, and are ready for re-classification, or to remain in the same divisions in which they were entered. If interested, send an application. Be sure to state your abilities, so correct classifications can be made. Following your membership, information will be given as to summer activities for the organization, rsp |
