LEHI GAME Surprise event of the season was tlie defeat of the Pioneers at the hands of the Vikings.. The Vikings were hoping for a victory, but the Pioneers were considered stiff mat- eiral for the defeated Vikings. However, How-ever, tile Vikings seemed to have a magical tie binding the team; they showed unexcelled cooperation. The team put all their efforts into bringing the svn veering Lehi team to a semblance of humbleness. ' The Vikings made the first basket bask-et and continued to hold a lead of at lea:st 5 points throughout the game. Then the climax was the score of 31 to 41 when final signal announcing the games end was sounded. The spectators endangered the Lehi bleachers with their emotional emot-ional outburst. Everyone cheered, even boys who usually show little concern,, were excited. After the game you could easily distinguish Pleasant Grove from Lehi. The Pleasant G rovers were bubbling over with hppiness while the population of Lehi went around with down J cast faces. Mary Louise Adamson I VIKINGS TO PLAY B.
