Show UTAH-AGGIE GAME THANKSGIVING DAY Time for Annual Fray Set; "U" Will Not Play California "U"; One Open Date. The game between the University of Utah and the Utah Aggies for the 191 ( football season will be played on Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dav in Salt Lake, and there will be no contest with the University of California. These two points were settled at a meeting of the university athletic council coun-cil held vesterriav forenoon just prior to the departure of Dr. H. Leo Marshall for Denver, where he will represent the university uni-versity in the annual meeting of the . Rocky Mountain conference authorities. Dr. Marshall was instructed to arrange games with the Colorado Aggies, the University of Colorado and Colorado col- . lege. The date for the Colorado Aggie game has already been set for November 8, but an attempt will be made to play it later in the month, in order that the Salt Lake fane mav seo the conference champions when they are going at their bent. No game will be plaved with California because the coast institution already has a full schedule. Southern California wants a. game, however, and this contest will prohablv be arranged. Utah hopes to phiy a total of six games during the season. At the present time there are prospects for only nve. There has been an effort made to arrange a contest with the Univorsity of Nebraska, and if this fails some other school will be taken on. |
