AT THE CONCLUSION of the Kiel semester of study students will visit several major cities of western Europe before returning home the latter part of August. A University of Utah Center at the Christian - Albrecht University at Kiel, Germany will be established estab-lished during the spring of 1967, Dr. David E. Miller, History Chairman, Chair-man, announced today. THE SIX-WEEK study course (March 20-May 1), will concentrate on the German language after which students will be admitted to regular Kiel University courses for a full semester of study. Primary emphasis will be placed on German language and literature, German and European history, music and art. Other courses will be available, avail-able, depending on individual needs. Students will be able to earn approximately ap-proximately 25 hours of University of Utah credit. The program is limited primarily to juniors, sen-. sen-. iors and graduate students. SINCE ALL courses will be taught in German by members of the Kiel University faculty a knowledge knowl-edge of that language is a prerequisite. pre-requisite.
