Show funeral services held for aurelia walker barber funeral services were held in the new church at 11 a m monday for aurelia walker bar ar ber whose life was taken in an accident near moab oct opening prayer was offered by karl S barton after which the choir sang 0 my father speakers were lawrence black A J redd D B perkins and bishop summers all paid tribute to the noble character and life of mrs barber she has been an influence for good with all who knew her cultured gen aine sympathetic gentle lovely gracious a true gentle woman with the courage and faith stand for her ideals A solo come to me all that need rest was beautifully rendered by marge redd the ladies chorus sang the end of a perfect day and the closing number sometime well under stand was given by the choir the songs were accompanied by maxine frost at the piano and donna redd played lovely organ music music the benediction was offered by wilford frost there were many lovely floral pieces and an unusually large number lumber were in attendance many came from out of town aurella aurelia walker was married to myron barber nov 29 1916 and to them were born six sons who were all present and were the pall bearers at their mothers funeral they are dean john frank robert richard glen and dan i all of the children and their wives were present except mrs john barber was unable to attend her five sisters were also there and mr barbers broth er karl barber the body was taken to syracuse for burial mrs barber held many res pon sible pos positions irions in the church d during burng he her r 1 life ife she was secretary of the north davis stake primary a counselor in the primar at driggs idaho a counse counsel 1 or in the relief society in mon li ti cello she was also assistant organist at syracuse for many years |
