Show OUTRAGEOUS ACT OF A HUSBAND Tolice court convened this morning morn-ing for the first time since the departure depart-ure of Judge J. D. Murphy from tho city. J. K. Bagley, judge pro tem, -was ou the bench but, despite the long absence of Judge Murphy, tit- was only called upon to dispose of eight cases. Mrs. Lludcsey, well known in police circles, was arrested last night by De-tf-ctlvo Pender for disturbing the peace and entered a plea of guilt)'. hen arraigned. Detective IVnder tttaed that the woman had caught her husband llirtlng with another woman wo-man and that she had become greatly angered at the sight, rebuking both the woman and nian in most violent language Among other names Mrs. Llndfccy had called her rival a "cat'' The detective stated that he thought the woman was partly justified for disturbing the peace iu the circum stances. City Attorney J. 11. DeVlne asked that the prisoner be given the leni tacy of the court but that Detective render be appointed by the court to act as a reconcillatory agent for Mrs. Llndsey and her hubbaud and endeavor en-deavor to have the two live together more peacefully hereafter. In passing on the case, stated that it was a very unusual thing for a husband to flirt with another an-other woman and that ho did not wonder won-der that she had become provoked to anger by auch action on Hie part of ber leaser half. He requested her that, should tsuch a thing occur again, she be more careful in her selection of words In giving vent to her wrath, especially upon the streets. With this warning he irmltted the woman to leavo ih.j court room without a UDe. Mrs. Parsons pleaded guilty tn being be-ing drunk and was lined $5 or live day. John De Voe, a Sail Lake man, who was arrested a few days ago lor disturbing dis-turbing the peace un a Bamberger train, was fined 5 10. When arrested the man put up n bond uf J23 for his appearance and his bond w;is considered consid-ered forfeited by l-he local authorities. A Salt Like attorney appeared in De Yo's behalf this morning and cn- tered a plea of guilty. Although the , cjiy attorney argued that the man de-I de-I served thj maximum sentence for hlrj offense, the judge gave bim the uual ' sentence. H. 11. Call and Koss Labollo each forfeited his bond for not apw-inng I to answer to tho charge of being un-i un-i lawlully drunk. E. B.
