The proposed city-county park at the old prison site and the rapidly expanding Pioneer Village at Connor St. should add nothing but cultural and recreational Improvement Im-provement to the area. New roads planned for the area, including a freeway, the Simpson Ave. link off Highland Dr. and new off-street parking lots, will mean new business for the growing district. dis-trict. D. James Cannon, executive secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, echoes the feelings of the whole area in saying: "We want not only to grow In business, but we want the area to become more beautiful and a cultural cul-tural center for the entire state. "There's nothing but a very fine future in store for Sugar House. "We feel that with the proposed development of the prison site, plans for new roads and off-street parking lots.
