Show THE PARK QUESTION local sheep men are meeting next monday i ight to determine what action they shall take in connection with the proposal for or a park at cedar freaks there is little doubt as to what their attitude will be ano and no one who is familiar with local conditions and with the ambitions of the park service as referred to elsewhere oise where in these columns will blame them for such attitude the times believes however tha the tha question Is one which concerns more than just the sheep men ani and that it should be given careful consideration sider atlon by the public generally continued indifference on our part or even een the protests ot of the wool growers s may not be for the best we are likely to get either too much park or no park at al all certainly too much park would be disastrous no park at all would probably be a loss to us also the times has repeatedly suggested in the last few weeks and wo we lenew denew the suggestion that tile the chamber of commerce should take action A meeting is called by its ot of feers to fo night the cedar chamber appointed a committee some time ago to meet with a like committee from fram Pa or with the officers of our chamber on the question but to date we have made no provision for meeting them the two organizations working cooperatively through proper channels would no doubt be able to arrive at a solution to the problem which would be entirely satisfactory to all infer interests ests delay may deprive them ot of that opportunity the question be longer ignored |
