Show Elder S. Dilvorth Young to Address Kolob Conference First Quarterly. Meet Scheduled With Newly Sustained Stake Heads Quarterly Conference meetings for Kolob Stake will be held Saturday and Sunday, January 19 and 20, in the Second-Eighth Ward Chapel, announces Kolob Conference Speaker . , -v k - , ' ' ' - " K ' f, ' 1 1 ' - 1 f ' 'A ' I I ' Uv I II"" J I. Kolob Stake President Ernest A. Strong, Jr. In attendance to represent repre-sent the General Authorities will be President S. Dilworth Young of the First Council of Seventy. It will be the first conference under direction of the newly sustained sus-tained officers. On Saturday evening two special sessions will be held. The first meeting at 6:30 p.m. will be a priesthood leadership meeting which should be attended by the stake presidency and clerks, high council members, stake Senior Aaronic Priesthood Committee, Melchizedek Priesthood quorum presidencies and secretaries, High Priest group leaders, Senior Aaronic Aar-onic Priesthood quorum presidencies, presiden-cies, and bishoprics and clerks. At 8:00 p.m. a special meeting has been planned under direction of President Young for which attendance atten-dance will be by special invitation. General sessions on Sunday will begin at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. An evening meeting at 7:00 p.m. under direction of the stake MIA has been arranged according to outline given by the General MIA Board which will feature several addresses by outstanding young people of the stake using as their theme the Articles of Faith. Mrs. Mary Weight, stake MIA music director, has arranged special musical numbers. All stake members mem-bers are urged to .attend these Sunday meetings to receive the messages which have been prepared. pre-pared. Elder S. Dilworth Young is noted for his inspirational talks and his advice given in narrative form which has particular appeal to young people. He was sustained a president of the First Council of Seventy in 1945 and later served ser-ved as mission president to the New England States Mission for several years. Time schedules have been arranged ar-ranged for the Eighth ward to hold Sunday meetings in the chapel chap-el without conflict to the conference confer-ence sessions. Elder S. Dilworth Young |
