Alleman, Springville farmer and stockman was recently recent-ly appointed to serve another three year term as District Supervisor for the Timpanogos Soil Conservation Conserva-tion District. Karl is one of the original five board members appointed ap-pointed in 1947 by the Utah State Soil Conservation Committee when the Timpanogos District was' first organized. During the ten year period Karl has helped 'guide the destiny of a people's organization which is set up under state law to protect our soil and water resources against rapid depletion. Board members serve without compensation. Their only thanks is the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. Since 1947 Karl has seen the District grow from zero to 333 cooperators who have agreed to work with the District in solving their soil and water conservation problems. An equipment business is operated oper-ated by the Nebo and Timpanogos (Continued on Page Two) vice and help for the District Educational Ed-ucational Program is received from the Extension Service.
