Show The Love Company Has the Ballot Box; Get Your Name in This Week ffit The Love Company, between Second and Third South on Main St. will have the ballot box for the Mystery, Name the Place Aerial contest this week and contest con-test participants may be hoping for an easier place to guess. The Aerial Photo last week, which proved a sticker for so many was the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Morgan at Mapleton, 8th North and Center Street. The Morgan's moved to Maple-ton Maple-ton about a year and a half ago from Beaver, after Mr. Morgan had been transferred in his work with the Union Pacific railroad. Mrs. Morgan said she recalled when the airplane, last summer, flew so low over their home and she wondered at the time what it was all about. When people called her on the phone last week and asked her if it was their place pictured in the Springville Herald, Her-ald, she became curious. Upon purchasing a Springville Herald, she read about the contest and then became aware why people were driving so slowly past their home; why the phone calls and other inqueries. A lot more people now know where the Morgans live and perhaps per-haps feel a little better acquainted acquain-ted with them. There was also considerable traffic into the Hay-mond Hay-mond Drug store where last week's ballot box was located judging from the large number who filled out contest ballots. Springville Herald readers are urged to watch for the contest photo each week: It may be of a home, a farm, a school, church or other building all within five miles of the center of Springville. Those who enter may win a weekly prize and those who stay in the race through the 50-week period and guess all correctly, will compete for the grand prizes worth over $500. |
