Show ONE CITIZEN ANSWERS " 7 Mr. Editor I read with interest, the article appearing ap-pearing on your front page lastweek. The writer seems to be acquainted with the true status of affairs, yet, 1 hope there is an alibi some place, l feel that there must be some reason why Milfordites are not attending these numbers. While I have not been a faithful attendant myself, I have heard good reports from those who have attended. attend-ed. I somehow believe that Milford people do want good, clean, wholesome whole-some entertainment and believe that surely something canbe done that will prove I am right. While this coming number is the last one of the season, I hate to think that we will not have the opportunity opportun-ity of a course next winter and will certainly go andl take my family in order to show these progressive men I appreciate their efforts on my behalf. be-half. I will also try to get my friends to attend the number next Saturday night. Isn't there some way whereby the churches and lodges can get behind the course next year in such a way as to eliminate the necessity of individual indivi-dual underwriting the whole course? Surely Milford can put over such a program with these organizations behind be-hind it without unloading a hardship on any individual person. Let each organization see how many tickets its members would agree to take and then the organization sign up for their own season tickets. Beaver and Cedar City have both -c- "put over this course. Is Milford to sit back and see the surrounding towns outdo her? I, for one, say. No. I believe be-lieve there is a community spirit in our town if we can get our people to how it. You can count on me to do my part next year. Let every citizen make a special effort to attend this double play on Saturday night and encourage our lo-i lo-i al committee. Yours for a greater Milford. A. B. O. |
