Show Millville Mill Reports Make It Necessary to Offer H Stock For Sale. H Millviluc, Dec. '-'2. A meeting of jH tho south Milling Company, operating jH at Millville, was held last Monday jH afternoon in the Millville meeting H house. A report from tho secretary showed that a large sum of money had to bo raised at once, to pay the H Indebtedness of the mill. It was H shown In tho report that a largo per IH cent of the land owners who have water rights In the Blacksmith Fork H river have not taken up tho subscrlb- H cd stock of two dollars per acre to buy jf tho mill, thus leaving tho mill rather jH embarrassed. The question wasdls- cussed as to the best way to raise the jH money. Somo favored assessing the l stock, others were In favor or compell- jf ing tho subscriber to take their H amount of stock, but nothing could jH be decided until men like James An- jH derson, who has nearly 11 vo hundred dollars In tho buslncs,sald they would jH doublo their present holdings before H they would loso what they had in the jH mill. This feeling prevailed and it jH was decided to send out a solicitor to jH sell slock and collect the Increased jf subscription of tho present stocK- H holders. The proposition was unanl- jf mously accepted for tho success of the jH Manager John E. Rouchc presented H a report of tho mill. Thcro was not H enough tnonoy to run the mill success- IJ fully. The fact that tho brand of jH flour is now takes time to Introduce it H on the market, but tho quality Is good jH and gives cntlro satisfaction. jf |
