Show Christmas Dinner. One Given at B. Y. C. Rather Elaborate Elab-orate and Highly Successful. v T,ho Domestic Sclcnco Department of tho Rrlgham Young Collego served a Christmas dinner Wednesday afternoon after-noon that was perfect In sol vice, decorations deco-rations and the general appointments. Tho decorations were In red and green and very elaborate, the dining room showing to the most in tittle effect. The tablo was a thing or beauty and a Joy that was appreciated to the limit. It sat beneath a cluster uf Christmas bells from which was festooned streamers of crimson and holly. Holly placo cards and carnations completed the plcturo and the most elahoratK meal served by Misses Lalcnc Hendricks, Hend-ricks, Ellen lludge, Vivian Hatch, June lllalr and Zclla Smart left nothing noth-ing to bo desired by the guests, who wcro as follows: Pres. and Mrs. J, H. Llnford. Piof. and Mrs. Vernon, Bishop Cnrdon and wife, Mr. and Mrs. M. .1. Italian), Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hcndrlckson. Prof. IV. uuu -ma. j. i jii-uui lunsuii, run. i M. Wolfe and Mrs W. II. Homer. The Domestic Science Department of the H. Y. C. Is under the tutelage of Miss Rose Homer and that her students carried through to such perfect per-fect success an affair so elaborate and althogcther delightful Is a ciedlt. to her as well as tho young ladies. |
