Now I'm reall y provoked bee ause they didn't let me in on this bit of news before it happened, so I could have participated in it, and also had a news item while it was news. Anyway Peter asked my to write this little piece and express his appreciation to these good friends fri-ends for their nice convenient gift. He, says he's gaining weight and his food really tastes better. They even invited me to write my name on a ticket and drop it in a box. Being in a hurry I didn't even write very legibly, knowing that no one would ever see it anyway. Then a few minutes past six 1 got a phone call and a lady said I'd won the chair. Well, saying I was surprised was putting put-ting it mild. Not being in the habit of getting anything for free, I was totally unprepared for such a pleasant surprise. But I didn't lose any time getting to Delta and I was just sure they'd read that ticket wrong and I'd be let down when I got there. But really I brot the pretty hcair home with me and I'm inviting you all to come take a turn sitting in it. Maybe I can get some of my work done if I uidn't have to hold it down all the time myself.
