Local Springville city business concerns con-cerns will remain open until 7 o'clock on the night of July 3, to give people an opportunity to do last minute shopping the day before the Fourth of July, it was announced today. Most business -houses will be closed all day Saturday, Sat-urday, and people are advised to take advantage of the later closing clos-ing time Friday because of the two days holiday for business houses. Harvey Hutchinson, city road supervisor, sustained a fractured right leg Tuesday night, when he collided with a fellow ball player while engaged in a game of soft ball at the high school campus. He was treated at Dr. George Anderson's Ander-son's office and removed to his home. . Members of the Hobble Creek CCC camp No. F 30, will be entertained enter-tained at a dance Friday evening, July 10, at Memorial hall, it was announced loday. Kolob stake Relief societies have closed for the summer, according ac-cording to announcement by the various ward presidents. The Third ward closed Tuesday while the other organizations discontinued discon-tinued regular meetings, June 23. Fire of undetermined origin damaged a car belonging to Lee Stephens at his home North Fourth East street, at midnight Saturday. Neighbors saw the blaze and notified the fire depart- Descendants of Hans istian Rigtrup held a family reunion at Park RoShe recently. In attendance attend-ance were the three sons, H. C. Rigtrup of Springville; George and William R. Riptrup of Spanish Fork and their families. A program, pro-gram, lunch and sports featured the affair. H. C. Rigtrup of this ; city was elected president of the ; family organization with Carlos Olsen of Lake Shore, first vice-president; vice-president; Mary Rigtrup of Spanish Span-ish Fork, second vice president ,and Miss Marie Rigtrup of this city, secretary-treasurer. A large number of workmen are employed on the treets of (the city racking rocks and otherwise other-wise making the city more attractive attrac-tive by cutting high weeds around ditch banks and fences. The recent re-cent oiling of the streets together with ower minor improvements have done much to improve the-appearance the-appearance of the city. Approximately 300 mothers and daughters of Kolob stake attended the annual entertainment given for the group by the M. 1. A., Thursday afternoon, at the city park. Each ward was represented in a well arranged and novel program which was especially enjoyed by all. Immediately after the program, pro-gram, a short period of games were conducted by the various ward presidencies. Tributes were made to both the mothers and daughters during the afternoon. At the close of the entertain-i entertain-i ment, refreshments were served and the honored guests were presented pre-sented with a dainty pink rose corsage. The John Hunt and Sarah Bar-dil Bar-dil family group reunion will be held at Nebo Ranger station, Ne-phi Ne-phi canyon, from Saturday noon (campfire at night) to Sunday evening, 18 and 19 of July, 1936.
