Last year, NSHS FFA President Brenda Crane reported, the chapter won the parliamentary procedure contest in Provo over 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A high school chapters. Crane and Tony Lions club members were enthralled by the demonstration since the club uses parliamentary procedure to conduct its meetings. Members decided to invite the FFA back to teach the club how to better use the procedure.
