The Salma Sun '- I 4--v i This Saturday is the fourth annual Salina Jubilee for all residents and former residents of North Sevier 55 years old and older. All activities are at the Salina Stake Center. With the theme Sweet Memohundreds of current and ries, Sevier residents will North former celebrate old times beginning at 1L a.m. with visiting. At noon a dinner will be served (please bring own dishes.) Leslie is one of the twelve Sterling Scholar candidates at the North Sevier High School. She is competing in the Homemaking area. The Central Utah Sterling A program has been scheduled from 5 p.m. Each ward is in charge of 20 minutes each of the program. Scholarship awards banquet will be held. Tuesday, April 5, at the North Sevier High School. Mistress of Ceremonies will be Joanne Shaw, Rose Weaver and Master of Ceremonies, Kerry Sorensen. Leslie Johnson, Aurora, gave the girls a Home Safety quiz. They talked about being alert and ready for anything. They learned what to do in case of an emergency. Here Legion Sets Dance For Saturday The American Legion is sponsoring a dance February 19 at the Legion Hall in Salina. Dancing begins at 9 p.m. and ends at 1 a.m. Music will be provided by the Country Steelers. Cost is $3 per person. Adults only are invited. Minors will not be allowed in whether married or single. The evening will be at the newer Middle School Gym beginning at 9. live music will be provided by the to Steelers. Free hors d oeuvres will be served. Soft drinks will be available. Door prizes will be given during the dance. These gifts have been donated by businesses throughout the community.. Tickets are available in advance from firemen for $5 a couple in advance or $6 at the door. All proceeds from this activity .will go to projects upgrading the Salina Fire House.
