Show DRIVE FOR TIN CANS NOW ON In this year of 1945, with Victory Vic-tory still to be won, wP are called call-ed upon to make a more determined determin-ed effort in our salvage drives Paper and tin are the most critical criti-cal materials now ' needed, j Vith our neighbors, our sons and daughters, brothers and sist-jers, sist-jers, and friends on every battle front in the war, we must supply .tin to make syrette, the container for the drugs so badly needed by our wounded. A special drive ;s now being conducted through our public schools, theatres, papeis and radio rad-io by the Utah Minute Women. State Salvage Office, in an effort to obtain every available tin can for the war effort. Cans must be washed and flattened before be ling collected by the school child-ren child-ren during the drive from Tan-uary Tan-uary 29 to March 2. Milk cans should be punctured and washed jas cleanly as possible as they con- tain more tin than other cans. It is asked that you cooperate :in helDing the school children to collect these cans, and stress to , these children the importance of I proper handling and conservation i |
